Irregularities in ration distribution: Villagers stage protest  
Tension prevailed for a while in front of the tahasildar's office in Kunigal on Wednesday, when hundreds of villagers from Katrighatta, Kulumepalya, Hosur, Gowdayyanapalya staged a protest against the irregularities in the ration distribution.
Deepavali, fest of lights turning out to be fest of noise!  
Deepavali has come to mean fireworks and sweets, wearing new clothes and going to restaurants to tuck into a good meal. The class of people who have follow this trend has been increasing.
'Scientific attitude improves way of thinking'
