Mission Of Mercy Forgotten
New Delhi, Nov. 7.
Politics had the last word at a humanitarian conference today as the 19th International Red Cross Conference concluded its session here with the President of the conference, Rajkumari Amrit Kaur, herself, and the Indian Red Cross delegation, which she was leading, withdrawing from the conference.
The delegations of the entire Communist bloc of countries and Yugoslavia also withdrew from the conference in protest.
Soviet Army Show Their Might
Moscow, Nov. 7.
The Soivet Army displayed an armada of rocket weapons – including two new guns with barrels 70 feet long – at a military parade today in Moscow’s Red Square. Soviet communists said that some of these rocket guns were being shown in public for the first time.

Health Policy: Centre Blamed

Bangalore, Nov. 7.
The Indian Medical Association was not consulted by the Centre while drafting the national health policy document placed in Parliament recently the IMA President Dr R N Chatterjee, regretted here today.
Dr Chatterjee said professional bodies were considered in other countries while framing any health policy but in India they were totally ignored.
