Bombay rocks Bangalore
The Bombay Rock Association has scheduled a number of concerts in Bangalore over the next four months, as a part of their longest rock festival in India which began in Mumbai on October 24. The first concert in Bangalore was held on Novemeber 4 at Legends of Rock in Koramangala. It featured Metakix with Ivan Hurd (Angara’s guitarist), Myndsnare and Extinct Reflections.
The future concerts in the City include: Tribute to Jimi Hendrix - Ministry of Blues, an opening act (Nov 30 at Le Rock, Brigade Road Cross); Myndsnare, Kryptos, an opening act (December 9 at Legends of Rock, Koramangala); Avial, Paraousia, Pushing Tin (Decemebr 21 at Le Rock); Bhoomi, Inner Sanctum, Fahrenheit (January 6, 2008 at Legends of Rock); Caesar’s Palace, Lounge Piranha (February 1 at Le Rock).

Roberto Narayan (Millenium's drummer) with Drum Circle (Nov 15 at Alliance Francaise); Myndsnare, Kryptos, Extinct Reflections, Demonic Resurrection (January 19, 2008 at Guru Nanak Bhavan).
Bombay Rock Association is an organization that strives to prove wrong the notion that rock is dead. Formed 10 years ago, the association organizes rock gigs, jam sessions and listening sessions to promote rock music and give the musicians a platform to showcase their talent.
Bombay Rock has always believed in the power of the youth, and youth based issues like Freedom, Peace, Love and Truth which is why we also proudly call ourselves the Youth Organisation.
The festival will have the choicest of Indian Rock bands playing 41 gigs in all – 30 pub shows, 10 auditorium gigs (divided into electric and unplugged shows) to be concluded with an outdoor grand finale gig which will he held in Mumbai in February 2008.
