Party sources said in-fighting is in Gowda’s family - between former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy and his brother H D Revanna. Insiders say Revanna has been nurturing his ambition to become DyCM even before Kumaraswamy could complete his term as chief minister. Revanna and his wife have been pressuring Gowda in this regard, sources said.
On the other end, Kumaraswamy has been working silently in his own way - He has the backing of almost the entire JD(S) legislature party.
