Senior State BJP leaders on Wednesday demanded that the Governor direct the police to immediately register a criminal case against Congress leader D K Shivakumar and arrest him for instigating Congress workers to strip BJP national general secretary H N Ananth Kumar.
Speaking to reporters here, former ministers D H Shankaramurthy and Jagadish Shettar said Shivakumar’s act amounted to provocation of people for indulging in violence. Therefore, he should be booked under IPC provisions, they said.
