Spelling contest
The 2007 Tanglewood Concepts English Spelling Championship will begin on October 28, in Bangalore. This is a call for top-spellers from all over South India (Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Trivandrum, Coimbatore, Erode, Ernakulam, Calicut and Thrissur).
This contest is open to all children from 6 years to 16 years of age. Students studying in 11th Standard or PUC are not eligible to participate. The children who have been selected from the first round at the district level on October 28, 2007 are eligible to compete for the championship round. The Championship round will be held in the auditorium of Good Shepherd's Auditorium, Museum Road, Bangalore, on December 02, 2007.
The purpose of this contest is to help children improve their skills in spelling, to increase their vocabulary, to develop a sound knowledge of the English Language and to instil self-confidence while facing an audience. The preliminary Round is a written contest. The contestants have to write down the correct spelling of the words that are dictated to them by a competent announcer. Cash prize of Rs. 15,000 to 25,000 will be awarded to the winners of each group.

National Science Olympiad

Maths Olympiad
The 2nd Nationwide Interactive Maths Olympiad (NIMO) will be conducted for Class I to XII on November 22, 2007 all over India by Eduheal Foundation. Interior Design Diploma
Instruct jointly with Creators and Designers, Institute of Interior Design is starting a six months Basic and one year Diploma in Interior Design for housewives, students and working executives from October 25, 2007.
