A local court here has issued notices to Bollywood actor Mallika Sherawat and the owner of a luxury hotel in Mumbai to appear before it on November 3 in connection with a ‘vulgar’ dance show.
President of Baroda Bar Association Bhaskar Rao had moved the court on January 23, demanding action against Mallika and the owner of J W Marriot hotel for a ‘vulgar’ dance performance in the hotel on December 31, 2006, which was telecast live and watched by large number of viewers across the country.
