A day after the President’s rule was imposed, Governor Rameshwar Thakur formally took over the administration of the state.
A communique from Raj Bhavan stated that Mr Thakur would attend office at Vidhana Soudha on working days between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. The Governor, when in station will also meet the general public on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm.
Mr Thakur will address the principal secretaries and secretaries of all departments, DG and IGP, Bangalore Commissioner of Police and Principal Chief Conservator of Forests at 10:45 am on Thursday.
