Monsoon was weak over the State. Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevailed over North and Coastal Interior Karnataka. Maximum temperatures rose at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal and North Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at many places over South Interior Karnataka, appreciably above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and normal over the State. Minimum temperatures fell at a few places over South Interior Karnataka; and rose at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and change little over Coastal Karnataka. They were normal over the State.

Forecast: Forecast valid until the morning of Friday: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over all the districts of Coastal and North Interior Karnataka.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change is expected over the State.
