Cong fares badly
The Congress which was in power in the last elections fared miserably and bagged just five seats. Most of the CMC former presidents, vice presidents and former members have lost. The town municipal council which was upgraded to the city municipal council this time has elected 31 members out of which 24 are new members which is a speciality.
This has reflected the desires of the voters to see new faces in the administration so that they can bring about changes whic in turn will help them.
