The following have been elected as the new President and Vice President of gram Panchayat’s in the district for the second term. Muniratnamma of Alahalli and V Venkatachalaiah of Vakkaleri have been elected as the President and Vice president of Vakkaleri Gram Panchayat  unopposed.

Sericulture Extension Officer Ramakrishnappa was the Election Officer. Gram Panchayat previous president Iliyas Khan, former Vice President Yashodamma, Members C M Venkateshappa, all the members of Gram Panchayat and Secretary V Prasanna Kumari and others were present.

For Narasapur GP, Nagaraju and Shantamma have been elected as President and Vice president of JD (S). 
JD (S) leaders K C Shankare Gowda, Purahalli Srinivas, Kuki Harish Gowda, Narasapur Eeraiah  and others were present.
