Briefing reporters, Dell Asia Pacific President Paul-Henri Ferrand, said the company has been recording fastest growth in India.
Incidentally, according to Mr Ferrand, Asia Pacific was one of the fastest growing regions for Dell, with 30 per cent growth year-on-year. Last quarter, Dell Asia Pacific clocked a revenue of US$14.8 billion, he said. The company expects to take the top spot as the lead times for their product deliveries are getting better and plans are also on to introduce a new line of products into Indian market over time.
Dell India Vice President & General Manager Rajan Anandan said the company which posted Rs 2,000 crore last year expects to better the same this fiscal as well as given the consistent 50 per cent growth it has seen in India. The company which enjoys 35 per cent market share of the larger corporates in India, he said, hopes to garner healthy market share in the government and SME segments, its focus area, too in due course.
