Goa Chief Minister presents award to City industrialist
Tumkur, DHNS:

 City industrialist and technical director of the Siddaganga edible oil manufacturing company N J Rudraprakash has been awarded the current year’s ‘C’ (SEA) award.

The award was presented to him at a function held in Goa recently by that state’s Chief Minister Digambar Kamat. This award has been presented for the distinguished work done in the are of rice production by Siddaganga company.

Selected
The Bhoopasandra Government Higher Primary School students have been selected to represent at the State-level for their excellent performance at the district-level higher primary school sports meet held at Madhugiri recently.

In the individual high jump event Sumalata has bagged the second place. In the long jump Shashikala stood first and in the 600 mtrs race Asha came second and all of them have been selected, said a release.

The teachers and the villagers have lauded the efforts of the students selected.
