A health check-up camp for the cattle was organised under the auspices of Balaji Sujala Kiru Jalanayana Sangha of Gollarahalli in Sira taluk in the district.

Additional district Watershed development officer Dr B Chandrashekar inaugurating the camp said, it was most appropriate to hold a cattle health check-up camp. Balaji Sujala Kiru Jalanayana Sangha president Eeranna presided over the programme.

Water resources team leader Dr Naganna gave information on self help group income generating activities to the beneficiaries and also spoke about the schemes related to cattle.

Additional district Watershed development officials and Narendra pratishtan’s D Nagendra explained at length about the activities of the camp.

Dr G M Nagaraju, Dr Ranganath and Dr Dayanand gave information on cattle health and life insurance.

Panduranga compered the programme. Malleshappa welcomed. Chikkamallaiah, Sanjeev Reddy, Thimappa, Lakkappa, Eragiriayappa, Mangala, Nagaraju and Ramakrishna were present.
