Describing the UPA dispensation as a government of U-turns, the BJP on Friday said the Congress and its leadership has “developed cold feet” over the nuclear deal as “they are afraid of losing power and facing polls”.
“This government has become a government of U-turn. First the prime minister said the deal is non-negotiable. Then Sonia Gandhi dubbed those opposing the nuclear deal enemies of development,” said senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu.
Mr Naidu said the government has come out with its characteristic traits of moving “one step forward and three steps backward”.
