Looking at the sequence of events it is clear that H.D. Kumaraswamy and the JD(S) are the losers as a result of HDK not following through the agreement with the BJP. They will be seen as unreliable in any future coalition. If power was handed over to the BJP, HDK could have continued as the deputy CM.; JD(S) would have maintained its dignity. And now HDK and the party have lost all!
