Elaborate security arrangements have been put in place to ensure smooth conduct of the fourth World Military Games being held here from October 14 to 21, the Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy said on Friday.

“We are confident of providing adequate security. It is a matter of immense pride for us to host the prestigious event,” Reddy told reporters here.

With just two days left for the games to begin the Chief Minister held a meeting with senior military officials and representatives of CISM, (Conseil International du Sport Militaire) the organisers of the games.
