A music concert, which will see the fusion of Classical and Bollywood music, is set to enthrall Bangaloreans on October 27.

Organised by the Comprehensive Trauma Consortium (CTC) Sanjeevini, the ‘Visions of India - A tribute to the Nation’, is being held to create awareness on the importance of pre-hospital care and raise funds to sustain this life-saving service.

The concert will see Dr L Subramaniam, Gangubai Hangal and Dr Balamurali Krishna rubbing shoulders with Pankaj Udhas and Suresh Wadekar at Palace Grounds.

The event, conceived, written and composed by Dr L Subramaniam, will be a combination of instrumental, melody and dance “It is the first time traditional styles are being brought together on the same platform along Bollywood music to create awareness on a concept like trauma care,” Dr L Subramani told reporters on Friday.

The entry for the concert is free and the passes will be distributed shortly.

CTC Sanjeevini has been rendering pre-hospital care service through a fleet of ambulances in the City and on the highways where accidents are common.
