The valedictory of national workshop on ‘Recent Advances in Energy and Environmental Management System’ (RAEEMS-07) was held at Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), Manipal, on Saturday.
Karnataka State Environmental Impact Assessment Authority (Bangalore) Chairman Dr G Srinikethan stressed over the importance and relevance of energy conservation and environmental management.
He lauded the management of Manipal Institute of Technology for promoting the use of bicycles in the campus and reducing environmental pollution.
He said that every one should follow the energy conservation techniques and make their contributions for an effective energy management. Manipal Institute of Technology Director S S Pabla, Manipal Institute of Technology Joint Director P K A Muniswaran, Manipal Institute of Technology Department of Chemical Engineering HoD Dr B N Reddy, S Harishkumar among others were present.
