Ramzan, a festival of submission to Allah
DH News Service, Bagepalli:

The behaviours of some of the muslims is against the will and preachings of the Prophet Mohammed. The bestial acts of some of the followers who claim to follow his philosophy have tainted the entire humanity, said  Moulana Moulvi Jameel Ahmed on the Sunday.

Speaking at the Idgah Maidan here on the occasion of Id-Ul-Fitr or popularly known as Ramzan he said, people who resort to crimes like killing, robbery, arson should first put themselves in these situation and  only then they can understand the essence of humane, he advised.

Prophet Mohammed always emphasised on the service to orphans, widows and destitutes and has said that while giving alms we should give the same food and clothes as worn by us and that in their happiness lies the true joy of celebrating the festival. But today people want to exhibit even the act of giving alms in order to impress the people. Allah will never approve of this, he added.

Inclusive

Molvi Ahmed said that a religion should be inclusive and should not harm others. It aims to make life pleasant and propagates peace, harmony and unity  among  the people of different classes. Though Islam has all these qualities due some section of the people it is in a dangerous situation, where every muslim is seen with suspicion. If a person is a true muslim he should first stop the cruelty towards other human beings, he ordered.

People here celebrated this festival with full religious fervour. Ramzan is the 9th month, where muslims fast for a month with faith and devotion. On the last day of this month i.e Id-Ul-Fitr they offer special prayers to Allah and there by submit themselves to the god. This is the month where muslims find cherished happiness in their lives. , observed Molvi Ahmed.
