Free advice to bank customers
DH News Service, Chennai:
Help it at hand through counselling centres set up across the country by ICICI and run by retired senior bank officials. Counselling is free and is available to customers of any bank.

Have you fallen into a debt trap. Thanks to reckless use of credit cards and you don’t know how to get out of it? Help it at hand through counselling centres set up across the country by ICICI and run  by retired senior bank officials. Counselling is free and is available to customers of any bank.

Disha Financial Counselling, managed by Disha trust set up under the aegis of the ICICI Trusteeship Services Ltd, has launched its seventh centre in Chennai. The centre was inaugurated on Saturday by RBI’s regional director in Chennai F R Joseph.

Financial counsellors work on a voluntary basis. They conduct one-on-one sessions with those seeking Disha’s services, like  borrowers in distress. Consumers who have fallen into debt trap are  shown ways of reducing and eliminating  their debts.
