A special meeting of Zilla Panchayat will be held on October 19 at ZP auditorium. President Deerghakeshi will preside, informed a press release.

Ban on sale of liquor

Deputy Commissioner K R Niranjan has ordered the ban on the sale of liquor to maintain peace and order during Cauvery Theerthodbhava. The ban will come into force between October 17 and October 18, 1 pm. The sale of liquor will be banned within five kilometres radius of Talacauvery and Bhagamandala.

Jamabandhi

Jamabandhi programme in Nakooru-Shirangala gram panchayat limits will be held on October 19 at 11 am at Gram Panchayat auditorium. The programme will be presided by President P K Oman.
