Rs 2.76 crore road to come up
DH News Service, Bangarpet:

A bypass road can be constructed by widening the road from Hunasanahalli to Inorahosahalli if the farmers who own lands beside the road  would agree, said Kolar MLA Srinivas Gowda.

Speaking at the ground breaking ceremony of road construction in Inorahosahalli near Kasaba hobli here, Mr  Srinivas Gowdasaid that the road comes under the Kasaba limits and passes through Hunasanahalli rail gate via Inorahosahalli, Kaarmangala, Gutthalli, Kuppanahalli and reaches Kolar main road.

The asphalting of the 11.5 km road has been taken up under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana at a cost of Rs 2.76 crore in order to develop the road, the Member of Legislative Assembly added.

Gowda said that the desilting of the tank at Inorahosahalli will be taken up at the earliest by Zilla panchayat in order to increase the ground water level in the village.

Substandard work

He said that  the road constructed five years ago under the National Bank for Agricultural and Rural Development (NABARD) in Inorahosahalli was of substandard work.

MLA Srinivas Gowda also warned that if the same thing as been found this time too, the  contractors responsible will be blacklisted.

Zilla panchayat member S Muniswamy, Inorahosahalli Gram panchayat president Gutthalli Manjunath, G P member Krishnamurthy, Sathyanarayana, leaders A G Shivashankarappa, Nagaraj, Kaarmangala T Kariyappa, Ramesh, Devaraj, Chinna Venkatesh, Krishnappa, Srinivas and others were present.
