MULBAGAL
Issue notice against Alangur: Cong leaders
Mulbagal, DHNS:

Congress Block President G Ramalinga Reddy and Baba Jan have said that they would be lodging a complaint against former minister Alangur Srinivas for kick starting the underground drainage work on Friday in the city, though the coalition government headed by H D Kumaraswamy has been suspended and President rule has been imposed in the State.

When the State is under the President’s rule the people’s representatives should not inaugurate any programmes and developmental works. However, certain officials flouting the norms and in accordance with the whims and fancy of the former minister Alangur Srinivas have got him to inaugurate a developmental work.

This will definitely be brought to the notice of the Governor. Moreover, in future if any officials of the various departments flout the norms and work for the JD(S), we will undertake a protest, they added.

In the last held taluk panchayat elections, TP  former president Ramappa and vice-president V Venkatesha Gowda and the current Taluk Panchayat President Sugunamma were issued notices for violating the whip and efforts are underway to dismiss them from the party, observed Mr G Ramalinga Reddy and Baba Jan.

Also present in the meet were PLD Bank former president Neelakante Gowda, TP former president N M Amaranath, leader G Nagaraj and others.
