The Governor of Karnataka, Rameshwar Thakur will inaugurate the Durga Puja organised by the Bengalee Association of Bangalore on Wednesday, October 17 at 7 pm. The Durga puja by the Association, is in its 58th year of celebration. It is being held at RBANMS College ground, near Ulsoor lake. For exact location log on to www.bengaleeassociation.org
On all the three days of the Puja, Mahasaptami (Oct 18), Mahaasthami (Oct 19) and Mahanabami (Oct 20), the traditional Puja and Pushpanjali will be held in the morning between 10 AM and 12.30 PM. On every evening, cultural programs will be organised at the venue. The immersion of the idol will take place on Vijaya Dashmi (Sunday, October 21) at the Ulsoor lake around 4 pm.
