Two doctors have been suspended and another doctor has been given a notice seeking a valid reason with regard to a woman’s death on Monday at the General Hospital in KGF, said District Medical Officer Dr Raju.
Saraswathi (44), a resident of Nachapalli had been to the hospital complaining of breathing problem at 9.50 am on Monday but had to wait for 45 minutes as there were no doctors in the casualties section.
One Dr M A Khan also did not give treatment at the right time leading to the woman’s death.
With regard to the incident, the public had taken up protest for six hours demanding to suspend the doctors responsible for the unfortunate incident on Monday. The suspended doctors are Dr M A Khan and Dr Subramani.
Dr Shivakumar has been given a notice, said District Medical Officer Dr Raju.
