Lokayukta SP not happy with hospital maintenance
DH News Service, Kolar Gold Fields:

Lokayukta SP Venkateshappa on Tuesday listened to the public grievances at King George Hall and solved the problems of 4 applicants out of 16 applications which he received during his visit.

Lokayukta SP after paying his visit to the General Hospital wherein a woman had died due to doctor’s apathy, posed several questions to the doctors regarding their negligence and later visited the medical complex and reviewed it.

Mr Venkateshappa also visited kitchen and storeroom of the hospitals and expressed dissatisfaction over the use of inferior quality of rice and vegetables. He expressed displeasure over the maintenance of mortuary too.

He said that the officials of the hospital should treat the patients with utmost care and warned the authorities that incidents of negligence should not repeat.

He also assured of providing compensation of Rs 10,000 to the family of a woman who died due to doctors apathy on Monday.
