The efforts of the new Kamalapur Police of Hampi World Heritage Site area in seizing 1.3 Kg Ganza near Ganagatti temple and arresting maddi Nagendra and sending him to judicial custody is commendable.
The decision of the additional SP D. C. Rajappa to set up a police station exclusively for Hampi is significant before the start of Hampi Utsav which is scheduled to be held from November 3-5.
