KPSC calls for interview
Bangalore,dhns: The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) will conduct interview for recruitment to thirteen posts of Publicity Assistant in the Department of Information, five lecturer posts in costume design and dress making and one post of assistant lecturer in Hindi department of technical education and two hundred posts of cooperative inspectors in the department of cooperative societies, from October 17 to 18 and October 22 to October 30 at the head office of the Commission, Bangalore.
Interview notices to eligible candidates have already been dispatched. Those who have not received the interview notices may visit the Commission’s website http://kpsc.kar.nic.in and download the particulars or contact head office. Details regarding the last candidate called for interview under various categories are also available in the Commission’s website says a KPSC release.
Pay fine, lessen jail term
Bangalore, dhns: Karnataka High Court has given direction for reducing the jail sentence awarded to the “rowdy sheeter” Tanveer Ahmed, if he agrees to pay the fine imposed on him within two weeks. In May 2004 Tanveer was arrested on charges of attacking police.
