Mescom regrets discrepancy in power supply
Mangalore, dhns: Mangalore Electricity Supply Company (Mescom) Limited has regretted for the discrepancies occurring in power supply.
A Mescom release stated that the discrepancies were due to the higher demand for power than the actual production in the State and also due to the regulations on the Mescom in power consumption.
As per the direction of Load Dispatch Centre, power is being supplied to Mescom from the power generation centre via the grid of Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd (KPTCL). The Mescom regrets the inconveniences and appeals the consumers to co-operate with the unexpected power cuts, the release added.
