Even though the officers suffer severe strain, they should dispense the basic facilities to the general public without any delay, so that their daily lives is not rendered miserable, directed Administrative Reforms Department General Secretary and District-In-Charge officer R Suresh on Wednesday.

Talking to officials of the various departments in the city On Wednesday and responding to the problems of the people, he said that the government would always appreciate and encourage the efforts of the officials in making the facilities accessible to the general public.

Also, the people should not be tortured by the officials quoting cumbersome rules and regulations.

Moreover, the Bescom officials were  taken to task for not providing electricity connection, thus hindering the drinking water supply in the district.

Such behaviour on the part of the government officials is highly condemnable,   R Suresh stated.

Also, Bagepalli has become synonymous with ‘flouride’. People who drink fluoride water suffer from serious ailments.

However,the officials have turned a blind eye to the issue, said the District-in-charge officer Mr R Suresh.

Thus, all the officials should immediately get to the task of containing water contaminated with fluoride, District-In-Charge officer R Suresh  suggested. Tahsildhar Dr Ropa Shree, TP  CEO Dr Srinivas and others were also present.
