Practising Yoga should become an individual’s indispensable part in life as it ensures good health, said B R Shankare Gowda, Principal of Morarji Desai Boarding High School in Kolar.
Speaking after inaugurating the 44th Yoga camp organised by Sri Patanjali Yoga Education Committee at Yoga Mandir, he said that Yoga can help in physical fitness as well as mental peace which is why since ancient times man has been practising Yoga, he added.
Vice President of the Committee B S Nanjundiah Shetty said that practising Yoga could help in getting self happiness and also ensures fitness for each and every part of our body.
Those who are interested in Yoga can make use of the newly-constructed Yoga Mandir to the best, said Committee president A V Govinda Raju who presided over the function.

Vice president R Nagaraj, G Narayana Raju, Secretary Chnadrashekharaiah, S V Venugopal, Jayachandra. Women's’ President Manjula Venkatesh, Prabha Nagaraj, Vijaya Krishna Reddy, R Narayanswamy, Venkateshaiah, Dr B N Janardhan, Suma Vijaykumar, G Venkataramana and others were present.
