Science seminar
A two day workshop in ‘Recent trends in Science and Mathematics’ was held recently at MES Prof B R Subba Rao PU College, Vidyaranyapura. The aim of the seminar was to instill and stimulate in the students a desire to pursue science. 

The seminar was presented jointly by Science Centre, Mysore Education Society, Indian Academy of Science, and National Science Academy, New Delhi and the National Academy of Sciences, India, Allahabad.
Eminent Professors from the Indian Institute of Science and from Raman Research Institute delivered the lectures.There was also a question answer session for the students and faculty who attended the seminar. Prof T N Srinivasan, Director MES Science Centre was the coordinator of the workshop.
