President’s XI asserted their supremacy with a facile innings and 99-run win over Bangalore City on the final day of their two-day KSCA inter-zonal under-15 cricket tournament tie here on Wednesday.

Having started their second innings 195 runs in the arrears, Bangalore City could only manage 136 with M Roshan taking three wickets and Adarsh and Aman Raj chipping in with two wickets apiece. Earlier, President’s XI, resuming on 245 for four, scored 316 for five in their first innings.

Bangalore City XI: 121 and 136 all out in 37.4 overs (Rahul Anand 38, Rahul Naidu 27 n.o; M Roshan 3-39, Adarsh 2-34, Aman Raj 2-3) lt to President’s XI: 316/5 in 75 overs (Samarth 145, Raunak Shah 25 n.o)
Mysore Zone: 263/9 and 183/4 in 37 overs (Lakshman 118, Kruthik 36; Suresh 2-34) drew with Tumkur Zone: 171 all out in 70.5 overs (Sohail 24, Suresh 37, Rajesh 29; Suchit 2-42, Manjunath 4-26).
Shimoga Zone: 219 and 42/2 in 21.3 overs (MA Karthik 25 n.o; Kiran Clinton 2-18) drew with Mangalore Zone: 157 all out in 45.5 overs (Rahul 30, Nikhil Kothari 48, Sharath Dhuri 24, VM Rasheed 23; Vikram Venkatesh 3-48, MA Karthik 2-20, Bhavesh Kain 4-44)
Combined City XI: 332/5 and 192/5 in 36 overs (Shreyas Gopal 40, OB Sai Kumar 89, CA Karthik 24; Chethan Raj 2/32) drew with Bangalore Zone: 218/6 in 75 overs (Sreenath RMS Rao 64, KV Siddarth 31, P Prashanth 53; AS Puneeth 5/49).
