Lack of 'third force' keeps JD(S) flock together  
The JD(S) is now a party of youngsters. After the exit of senior leaders including Siddaramaiah, P G R Sindhia, C M Ibrahim and others from the party, there is dearth of vocal and active leaders in the State unit of the party.
State decentralising power generation  
On behalf of five power distribution companies in the State, the recently formed Power Company of Karnataka Limited (PCKL) has invited bids for setting up the mini power projects.
BU debars 165 students for malpractice during exams  
The decision to debar the students were taken at the recent syndicate meeting as suggested by the Malpractice Enquiry Committee.
