Monsoon was weak over Coastal Karnataka & North Interior Karnataka. Rainfall occurred at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka & North Interior Karnataka. Maximum temperatures fell at many places over South Interior Karnataka; however they rose at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over the Coastal Karnataka. They were above normal at most places being appreciably so at many places over Coastal Karnataka; appreciably above normal at many places over South Interior Karnataka and above normal at many places over North Interior Karnataka. Minimum temperatures appreciably rose at a few places over Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnatka. They were appreciably below normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and were normal Coastal Karnataka & South Interior Karnataka.

Forecast: Forecast valid until the morning of Friday: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over all the districts of North Interior Karnataka.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change is expected over the State.
