Southwest Monsoon was vigorous over South Interior Karnataka; however it was weak over North Interior Karnataka. Rainfall occurred at many places over Coastal Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over North Interior Karnataka. Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at most places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka and at many places over South Interior Karnataka.Minimum temperatures appreciably fell at a few places over South Interior Karnataka; they rose at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka.
