ONE OF HER KIND....
Madhushree: An unusual talent
Aruna Chandaraju

Madhushree, has this uncanny gift for seeing your future and knowing your past too.

And of advising you with the wisdom and learning you associate with only the old. Yet, this fortuneteller, tarot-card reader and crystal-ball gazer is only 24!

Apparently, she was born with this unusual talent. From the age of six,  she used to have dreams at night and also daytime premonitions of certain events which later manifested themselves in reality.

Her mother, Prabha recalls how Madhu, during car journeys for eg, would tell them that she had heard a voice saying they shouldn’t move at or in a certain speed or direction because it wasn’t safe. At 12, the precocious Madhushree had received her 2nd stage of Reiki–– generally not given to anyone under 14.

It’s in the family

And, given a Reiki-healer father and a mother qualified in 42  different kinds of healing, it was natural for Madhushree to find this calling. However, it wasn’t that she grew up differently. She went to school, and then college, qualifying as a chemical engineer. She was all set to join a software company when her engagement to a US-settled fiancé meant “I had to give up the job offer since it stipulated a one-year contract.” And she always was and is just a normal, funloving girl and delights in everything a 24-year-old does––movies, eating out and hanging out with friends.

A cut above the rest

Yet, put her before her tarot-cards or crystal ball (clients can choose either or a combination) and then you realise how different she is.

She proceeds to unlock your past, present and future with her “divinely guided” insights, and gives you guidance and advice that she receives as messages. She steers clear of negative predictions that scare or demoralise a person. Besides private consultations, Madhushree does readings at Taj Residency, private parties and corporate events.

Predictions aplenty

However, she has clear dos and don’ts. She won’t predict political/election-related events; sex of unborn children; birth or death; and mass events.  And all readings are in private –– no spouse, friend, child may be present. “The auras or energy fields, especially of people in close-relationships, tend to overlap.” For her own protection, besides her belief in God and mantrachanting; she wears headgear involving crystals like amethyst or tiger’s eye on her third eye; and malas (jade or crystal).

Life an open book?

It’s tempting to ask whether her own life is an open book for her. “Well, I went through the stage when I did get addicted to the tarot for guidance. I would consult it for everything––electives in engineering, whether to go out or not, etc,.

Later, came understanding and maturity. Now I use my talents only for others.  I’m content to do my best and take life one day at a time. And use positive thinking to create a good future for myself.”
