Young advocates should fight against injustice in the society and help the poor in getting Justice, said Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy here on Monday.
Speaking after inaugurating the the District Prinicipal and Sessions Court and the newly-built Court Complex, he said that it is the present government which has concern towards the young advocates and thus providing Rs 2,000 monthly stipend for them.
The Government is very much interested in developing the new districts and to provide them with basic amenities, he said.
In this regard, it has sanctioned Rs 71 crore for constructing various buildings at the district centres, out of which Rs 30 crore is already released to Chikkaballapur district, the Chief Minister added.
The development works for the district court will be completed within a year. As many as Rs 1.60 crore was released for it last year and Rs 1.89 crore has been released this year for the second stage to build the Complex, the Chief Minister stated.
The government is more concerned towards the district as it does not have any source of water such as rivers and is fully dependent on rains.
Hence, the government has taken steps to provide drinking water facilities and has already released Rs 28 crore with this regard, he added.
After delivering the speech at the function, the Chief Minister joined the JD(S) function and assured to complete Jakkalamadagu Scheme as soon as possible.
He also congratulated the newly - elected JD(S) members for CMC at the JD (S) function.
