The arrested have been identified as Kumar alias Kumya Chandappa Chauhan of Kanyakolur Tanda and Boju Ganu Rathod of Hospet Tanda. The duo have been remanded to judicial custody.

The duo have also revealed about their accomplice Kishan Keshya Chauhan, who is absconding and reportedly having pesticide worth Rs 50,000 in his possession.

They had reportedly broken into Ganjam Basveshwar Commission Merchants Shop in January and Krishna Patanna Bank in March but returned empty handed. On August 7 they robbed Guru Agro Agencies and stole pesticides worth Rs 1.50 lakh.

A case has been registered in Shahpur police station and investigation is on.
