IAF recruitment rally in Cdurga from Nov 3

  A recruitment rally to fill the vacant positions in Indian Air Force (IAF) will be held at Onake Obbavva Stadium in Chithradurga from Nov 3 to 5.

The Employment Officer has informed that the permanent residents of Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Hasan, Shimoga, Chikmagalur, Kodagu, Davangere and Chithradurg districts are eligible to participate in the rally.
The candidates applying for the position of soldier general must have secured about 45 per cent marks in SSLC and must be born in between 6/11/86 and 3/05/90.

The candidates must be 166 cm in hieght and 50 kgs of weight and have chest measuring 77 to 82 cm.
Soldier clerk and Store keeper candidates must have passed PUC with 50 per cent marks, securing 40 per cent marks during every exam across the academic years, must be born between 6/11/84 to 2/05/90. They must be 162 cm in height, weigh 50 kg and have chest of 77 to 82 cms.

For Soldier technical post, the candidate must have opted Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English subjects in PUC, must be born between 6/11/84 and 2/05/90.

They must have a height of 165 cm, weight of 50 kg and chest of 77 to 82 cms. Candidates applying for Soldier Trademan position must have passed 9th standard, born between 6/11/84 and 2/5/90.
They have to be 166 cm in height, 48 kgs of weight and must have chest of 76-81 cms.
The attributes remain the same for the position of soldier general, but the candidates for this position must be born between 6/11/86 and 3/5/90.

On November 3 at 6 am, the recruitment for soldier clerk, soldier keeper technical and nursing assistant will held; On November 4 at 6 am, soldier general duty and trademan will be held; and on November  5 at 6 am Soldier general duty recruitment and at 10 am a recruitment rally for all the said position for ex-servicemen, soldiers children, NCC, C-certificate holders and athletes will be held.

All the eligible candidates (only men) need to bring all the educational documents such as marks card (two copies), other certificates, NCC certificates (original and two photocopies), address proof (original and two copies) and 10 colour photographs with negatives of the same.
The candidates below 18 years need to bring affidavit and two photocopies of the same.
