OBITUARY
T Govardhan
Bangalore, dhns:

Senior politician and member of Janata parivar T Govardhan (53) died of cancer on Sunday morning.
He is survived by his wife and a son. The last rites were performed in the afternoon.

Mr Govardhan had entered active politics after coming under the influence of eminent socialist Jayaprakash  Narayan. He had also served as the press secretary of Janata Dal.

He was also the chairperson of the government owned Marketing Consultancy Agency (MCA) when J H Patel was the Chief Minister.

Former prime minister H D Deve Gowda, former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy and former minister M P Prakash have condoled his death.  A large number of people visited his residence to pay homage.

Sadarajoshi

Mr G M Sadarajoshi (80) , a retired AIR and TV artiste, died on October 17. He leaves behind his wife and daughter Shobha Raghavendra, a TV artiste.
