KOMUL directors to spend Rs 26 lakh
DH News Service,Kolar:

The tour programme of 13 directors of KOMUL to review the progress in the works of Diary Farming has been condemned by the farmers of the district.

On one hand, there are the farmers who are suffering a lot due to scarcity of rains and here are the directors who are heading to tour around Dubai and Europe countries inspite of knowing the situation, they have alleged.
However, Kadenahalli Nagaraj who is the President of KOMUL and district Milk Producers Welfare Committee is not attending the excursion, including the three nominate directors Narayana Reddy, Narayana Swamy, Yashodamma who were very eager to attend the tour before.  Several milk producers have complained that these directors are misusing the efforts put in by the farmers.

Rs 2 lakh
The expenditure of each person who attends the tour amounts to Rs two lakh each which comes to Rs 26 lakh in total.

They have also alleged that  the president of Milk Union has been provided with a car of Rs 8 lakh and the Managing Director with Rs 5 lakh and also Rs 1 lakh spent by the Director to participate at the Co-operative Conference held recently in Mysore shows the spendthrift nature of the officials of KOMUL, the farmers alleged.
