Indian Warning Against Arms
United Nations, Oct. 23.

“This is an extremely dangerous trend which must be reversed.” Indian delegate Charanjit Chanana told the United Nations General Assembly today.

Voicing distress at the increasing militarisation of industrialised economies, he said it was closely linked with their desire to extend political influence and dominance.
