Amrit Vidyalayam enter final
Amrit Vidyalayam, Mysore outplayed Delhi Public School (South) 3-0 to storm into the final in the boys under-14 section of the CBSE Cluster VII table tennis tournament for Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh region in Bangalore on Tuesday.

In the final, the Mysore school will take on Chirec Public School, Hyderabad.

Boys: U-14: Semifinals: Amrit Vidyalayam, Mysore bt Delhi Public School (South), Bangalore 3-0; Chirec Public School, Hyderabad bt Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Public School 3-0. Third place: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan PS bt DPS (South) 3-0.
Quarterfinals: Amrit Vidyalayam bt DAV Public School, Gulbarga 3-0; DPS (South) bt KLE Society's English Medium School, Nipani 3-0; Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan PS bt Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra, Dharwad 3-0; Chirec PS bt KCPSARP School, Vijayawada 3-0.

U-16: Semifinals: MRPL, Mangalore bt Sri Aurobindo Memorial 3-2; Jain International Residential School, BG (R) bt DAV Public School, Gulbarga 3-2. Third place: Sri Aurobindo bt DAV Public School, Gulbarga 3-0.

Naveenkumar, Shruthi to lead
Naveenkumar K and Shruthi will lead the State boys’ and girls’ throwball teams respectively in the 18th National Junior championship to be held at Nagpur from October 26-28.
