INTERNATIONAL
CRICKET:
Having opened up a 2-1 lead in the five-match series, Pakistan will look to sew up the one-day series against South Africa in Friday’s fourth one-dayer in Multan. The final match has been shifted from Karachi and will now be played in Lahore on Monday.

Sri Lanka begin their short tour of Australia with a three-day game against an Invitational XI beginning in Adelaide on Saturday.

The Hong Kong Sixes will be played in Hong Kong on Saturday and Sunday.

TENNIS: The Lyon and St Petersburg Open men’s tournaments conclude on Sunday, while the ATP Masters Series in Paris and the WTA Quebec City Challenge commence on Monday.
The ITF Futures Gulbarga Open ends in Gulbarga on Saturday.
FOOTBALL: The group stages of the UEFA Cup will see action at different cities across Europe on Thursday.
The first leg of the African Champions League final will be played on Sunday.
BASKETBALL: The NBA regular season begins on Tuesday.
BOXING: The semifinals and finals of the World championship, which began on Tuesday, will be held in Chicago on Wednesday.

The Open Nationals will conclude in Jamshedpur on Friday.
CRICKET: The four-day Challenger Series domestic one-day tournament gets going in Ahmedabad on Friday.
The South Zone under-22 tournament for the Col CK Nayudu Trophy continues at different venues in Andhra Pradesh.
STATE / LOCAL
HOCKEY:
The DS Murthy & V Karunakaran memorial tournament will conclude at the KSHA stadium in Bangalore over the weekend.
CRICKET: The KSCA inter-zonal U-15 league tournament continues in Bangalore.
BASKETBALL: The MS Ramaiah memorial inter-engineering colleges tournament reaches a climax at the MSRIT courts in Bangalore on Friday.
FOOTBALL: The BDFA Super and ‘A’ Division leagues continue at the Bangalore Football stadium.
