No power supply
There will be no power supply on October 26 from 11 am to 4 pm. The areas which would be affected are: Shankarnagar, Srikanteshwaranagar, Ashokpur and Yeshwanthpur Industrial area.

Hearing aids
In an effort to help the hearing impaired, Starkey India held a camp at the Dr S R Chandrashekhar Institute for Speech & Hearing in Bangalore to provide 390 children with specially designed hearing aids. Starkey India is the subsidiary of Starkey Laboratories which makes hearing aids.

Race across India
‘A race across India in 96 hours’ will have 46 students from across the country participating. Organised by Young Indians, the race will be held from October 26 to 29. The race will start on October 26 in New Delhi and pass through Bangalore on October 29.
