NABARD to support dairy farming
DH News Service,Bidar:

 Farmers interested in taking up dairy farming would be provided assistance, promised NABARD Assistant General Manager Satish B Rao in Bidar.

He was speaking after inaugurating a district level farmer's workshop on dairy farming at Viraj Paper Industries auditorium in Bidar on Wednesday.

The workshop was organised by Bidar District Rural Development Society and Milk Producers Union.
He also called upon farmers to avail various schemes launched by the government for their benefit.
Bidar District Rural Development Society President Kashinath Patil observed that there was ample scope for dairy farming and related industries in the district.

Many farmers who were into dairy farming were making good money, he explained.
