Thieves decamp with cash from mosque
Mangalore, dhns: Some unidentified miscreants gained entry into a mosque and decamped with Rs 5,000 cash and a wrist watch at Mooda village.  According to police, they gained entry by breaking the shutter lock.
In a separate incident, some unidentified miscreants gained entry into a godwon belonging to Gramina Co-operative Society at Vittala by breaking the window grills and committed theft of 220 kgs of arecanut. The value of stolen arecanut is put at Rs 16,000.  A case has been registered.
