CAMPS AND WORKSHOPS

Painting exhibition
Ants Animation Training School, Malleshwaram has announced the first state level painting exhibition for the students of fine arts and regular colleges. Interested students may send their painting with a maximum size of 16x20 inches to 36x48. Paintings only in oil, acrylics, water colour or mixed media are allowed.
Participants also have to send their name, address and a photocopy of the identity card of their educational institute.

 Entry fees for fine arts students  and regular students are Rs 150 and 100 respectively. Fee should be sent as Demand Draft drawn in favour of Artoonz.

Last date for application is January 3, 2008. Entries should be sent to Director, Ants Animation Training School, U P Royal Building, #494, 2nd floor, 4th cross, Sampige Road, near Malleswaram Circle, Bangalore 560003. For details call 41538223/24/25.

Trekking camp
State branch of Youth Hostels Association of India is organizing a week long trekking expedition and family adventure camp at Coorg, Kodagu. The camp starts from December 19. Interested may contact 22350906. Last date for registration is 5 December.

ASIC design seminar
A three day seminar on ASIC Design and Verification Using System Verilog conducted joinly by M S Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies (MSRSAS) and SYNOPSYS at the premises of MSRSAS starts today.

The camp comprises the laboratory investigations like RA Factor, Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR), C - Reactive Protein (CRP), Serum-Uric Acid, X-rays and one Physiotherapy session at a subsidised tariff.
